Occupational training centres (OTC)

bildOccupational training centres (OTC) are special facilities for the occupational rehabilitation of individuals who are suffering from psychological illnesses. Their goal is to provide the patient with a realistic professional perspective, in order to enable the rehabilitation of persons affected in the general labour market or stabilization for a subsequent retraining or education. Thereby, over the course of 12 to 15 months, either a partially stationary adaptation to the current demands the use of a profession which has already been learned, or on-the-job-training in a new professional field, takes place for the individual who has been rehabilitated. Three months of on-the-job pre-vocational evaluation and training measures are also possible.
